Health & Healing

You have survived a deeply traumatic experience and transitioning home after release is very challenging. Incarceration and wrongful conviction affect our bodies, our minds, and our spirits.  Being separated from your community for so long, you may have lost friends and family during your wrongful imprisonment.

At Exonerated Nation, we are creating a community of exonerees.  We hold an annual healing retreat in the fall of each year and provide regular convenings and peer support opportunities throughout the year, providing a safe space for candid discussions and information sharing.

If you are interested in participating, connecting with other exonerees, or if you need help finding health and mental health services please contact us at: info@exoneratednation.org

Leadership Training

Exonerated Nation believes that those who have experienced and lived through wrongful conviction and imprisonment must be at the forefront of the movement for change.

Our Advisory Board will be meeting to discuss specific goals for increasing awareness of wrongful conviction and furthering the movement.

If you are interested in helping to guide the work and strategy of Exonerated Nation, or if you are interested in sharing your story, please contact us at info@exoneratednation.org
